Residential Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Accountable for the management of assigned projects including the installation, performance,
profitability, and customer satisfaction of projects.
? Performs all work within an established time frame and ensures that work is done in conformance
with quality work standards, projected man-hours, within established Company guidelines and
regulatory compliance requirements.
? Schedules, participates in and/or conducts project meetings.
? May interact with owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors
and others who are associated with project related activities.
? Directly responsible for planning/preparing all contract administration, executing and directing
project activities, and developing or maintaining client relationships.
? Responsible for leading and overseeing multiple projects consisting of on-site supervision of all
employees and subcontractors.
? Responsible for lay out of project work and ensuring that materials, tools, equipment and
information are scheduled timely to meet scope and construction schedules.
? Responsible for reviewing project documents; plans and specifications; directing construction
activities; resolving construction difficulties; coordinating field installations and project closings;
and developing and maintaining client relationships, all within project cost, time and quality
standards and standard operating.
? Responsible for building and maintaining project schedules and tracking managing job and extra
cost.
? Works with supervisory personnel and employees, engineers, architects, subcontractors,
inspectors, and supplier of tools and materials to improve construction methods and resolve
construction issues
? Ensures construction schedules are adhered to by determining appropriate staffing levels and
material and tool procurement
? Follows and enforces company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
? May works significant portion of day outside on construction site
? Must be able to stand for long periods
? Must be able to work in all types of weather (including exposure to extremes of hot and cold) and
in all kinds of work environments
? Able to lift/move up to 70 pounds
? Able to stand; crawl; climb ladders & stairs; balance; stoop and kneel; etc (physical activities
associated with construction sites)

? Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and background check
? Computer Skills - Competent and knowledgeable computer skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft
Office Programs.
