Company Overview: Our client is a dynamic and growing organization with 13 related-party entities operating across diverse industries, including real estate, jet leasing, and waste management services. Their team values accuracy, efficiency, and clear communication, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Small Entity Bookkeeper to manage the financial records and reporting for our portfolio of entities.
Position Summary:
The Small Entity Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining organized financial records for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have strong accrual accounting knowledge and experience, proficiency in preparing monthly financial statements, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
o 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably with multi-entity or related-party structures.
o Proficiency in accrual accounting and financial statement preparation.
o Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and eliminations.
o Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
o High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to manage multiple entities and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred Skills:
o Experience in real estate, aviation, or waste management accounting.
o Familiarity with multi-entity accounting systems.
o Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
