John has worked in the insurance and risk management field for almost 30 years and has been a State Farm agent since 2010. John has also previously served Vestavia Hills as a city councilman, is the current chair of the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, a charter member and president of the city’s Sunrise Rotary Club, and has had many leadership roles in Leadership Vestavia Hills, including serving as president.

Kelly Bottcher has been a long time community volunteer serving the VH school system, Leadership Vestavia Hills, VHCSF and Youth Leadership Vestavia Hills. Kelly now serves on the pastoral staff at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church as Coordinator for Discipleship Engagement.
