Sales/Cashier

We are a unique Amish furniture store located in Vestavia Hills. We sell heirloom quality furniture, home decor and natural personal care and health products. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, easy going, and comfortable talking to people. Having some sales background would be preferable, however we are not a high pressure sales store. We value building relationships over pushing people into making purchases. If you love beautiful furniture, decorating and people, this might be the job for you! If you like dressing up in business casual clothes, this might be the job for you! The owner, that’s me, can be a little scatter brained, very spontaneous and is always thinking of something new so boredom is never on the menu. A little chaos very well could be. We are pet friendly, so customers may bring their furry friends from time to time. We also sell toxin free candles, soaps, wax warmers and essential oils, so if you’re allergic to these things, it probably wouldn’t be the best environment. There is computer work involved, using Apple computers and we have a POS system. We also use copy machines and a laminator for making tags. Our POS system is easy to use. We are a small crew so it’s a close work environment and we love for everyone to be team players. We also need someone who will be dependable and flexible.
