Please join the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the opening of The Backyard Market with a Ribbon Cutting on Feb. 25th at 4:00 PM. Located at 633 Montgomery Hwy, the new market is taking over the former Joel’s location on U.S. 31 next to Donatos Pizza.
Owner Jeff Gentry, a Vestavia Hills native and graduate of Vestavia Hills High School, is using his experience in the grocery business to provide a grocery store in that area that wasn’t quite as large as nearby Publix. The store will also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner options for dine-in or take-out. In addition, the store will offer essentials such as milk and locally sourced eggs, as well as specialty cheeses and more. While the business is classified as a market instead of a restaurant, patrons can dine in.
So, be sure to mark your calendars and join us on February 25th at the Backyard Market! We are so excited to have them in Vestavia Hills!
