Alabama's annual severe weather preparedness sales tax holiday, will begin on Friday, February 23, at 12:01 am and end on Sunday, February 25, at midnight. This event gives shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain severe weather preparedness items free of state and Vestavia Hills city sales tax, and partially for Jefferson County sales tax.
