The race will begin at the Otey’s location in Homewood and end at the original Otey’s location in Crestline Village. This unique event invites runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to participate in a memorable race that underscores the power of community and the importance of charitable giving.
This event has been made possible through the remarkable support of Trak Shak, a cornerstone of the local running community, and the collaborative efforts of the Homewood and Mountain Brook city governments and police. Their combined efforts have ensured a safe, enjoyable, and successful race day for all participants.
"The Otey’s to Otey’s run is not just a race; it’s a celebration of our community’s commitment to fight against gastrointestinal cancer.” said Olivia Shull, Race Chair of the Reed Foundation Junior Board. "We are deeply grateful to Otey’s Tavern, Trak Shak, and the cities of Homewood and Mountain Brook for their incredible support. Let’s Finish the Fight."
Registration for the Otey’s to Otey’s run is now open, with all proceeds benefiting the Reed Foundation’s gastrointestinal cancer programs. Participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and can enjoy a post-race celebration at the green space near Otey’s Tavern Crestline featuring awards, food, and festivities.
