Haunt the Hills

Description

Our third annual Haunt the Hills Trick-or-Treat Night will be on Saturday, October 19 on the Grand Lawn at Wald Park! Trick-or-Treat on the Grand Lawn with local businesses & enjoy games & inflatables from 4:30-6:00 pm! 

Dress in your best family-friendly costume for a Costume Contest. 
Bring your Carved or Painted Pumpkin to enter in the Pumpkin contest. Contest Winners will be announced at 6:15 pm. Both contests are free to participate in.

Don’t Forget a chair or blanket to watch Halloweentown at 6:30 pm.

Costume Contest Details:

• Pre-register for the Costume Contest at https://forms.gle/wFWmbMhJVpkwKYtg9. You will check-in at the Chamber of Commerce table where you will receive your contest number.
• Day-of registration will also be available.
• Wear your number around the park as you trick or treat.
• Signs will be posted around the park with the website to vote for your favorite costumes.
• Voting ends at 5:45 pm.
• We will gather at the stage at 5:45 pm for a costume parade around the lawn.
• Winners will be announced at 6:15 pm.
• Categories are: Kids (0-4); Kids (5-8); Kids (9-12); Adults; Groups; Pets
• Free to enter. You do not have to be present to win.

• ​When you arrive at Haunt the Hills, check in at the Vestavia Hills Arts Council table where you will receive your contest number and be directed where to place your pumpkin.
• Day-of registration will also be available
• Winners will be announced at 6:15 pm. 
• Free to participate
• Bring your already carved or decorated pumpkin to enter.
• You will be able to take your pumpkin when you leave.
• You do not have to be present to win. 
• If registering multiple people, please fill out a form for each person.
