Description
GLASSES UP for Down Syndrome is presented by Clyde Mays Whiskey and is a charity bourbon and spirit tasting event benefitting Down Syndrome Alabama. The event will take place on Thursday, November 14, from 6-9, at a secret speakeasy in Vestavia Hills. Clyde May is know as an outlaw for bootlegging and being inprisoned, yet to the Down Syndrome Community, he is a trailblazer for rasing his daughter Debbie, who had Down syndrome, in his home with his other children during a time when society thought otherwise. Clyde's grandson, LC May, will be on hand telling the story of the Clyde May lable, his grandfather, and the love his grandfather had for his daughter Debbie.
