Connections Support Group for Persons with Depression / Anxiety

Birmingham, AL August 29:  There is a change of venue for individuals attending or wishing to attend NAMI Connection Support Group 2, a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness. The meetings, previously held at NAMI headquarters
(700 28th St South), will now confer at St. Martin’s in the Pines, located at 4941 Montevallo Road, in the formal dining room of Assisted Living. 

The meetings are:

·         Consistent – Each Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

·         Confidential – participants can share as much or as little personal information as they wish

·         Educational – they do not recommend or endorse any medications or other medical therapies

·         Guided by NAMI Connection’s Principles of Support. 

·         Open – there is no charge to attend or participate

Directions to St. Martin’s Assisted Living Facility: From Montevallo Road turn into Elder Street, left on Pittman Avenue, then left on Woodside Drive. St. Martin’s Assisted Living is straight ahead beyond circular drive.
