Back to School Sales Tax Holiday
Description
Alabama will hold its 16th annual sales tax holiday, beginning Friday, July 16, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. and ending Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 12 midnight, giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies, computers and clothing free of state and city sales tax (the Jefferson County 1% Special Revenue Sales and Use Tax still applies).
