Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Are you a natural relationship-builder who loves the thrill of winning new business? As a Sales Representative for
McCorquodale Transfer, you'll be the face of our company in the field, building lasting relationships with customers, learning
what they need, and delivering moving solutions built around them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Business Development
• Build and run your own territory action plan, using data and real results in the field to sharpen your approach
• Prospect for new business, set your own appointments, and own the sales cycle from first call to signed deal, across all of
our service lines
• Represent McCorquodale's services with confidence, backed by strong product knowledge and real customer insight
• Hit your sales goals by staying tuned in to what your clients need and following a proven selling process
• Team up with fellow sales reps to keep quotas on track and standards high (this is an individual-contributor role with no
direct reports)
Client Relationship Management
• Generate leads and build genuine relationships by staying on top of a daily schedule of calls to current and prospective
customers
• Become the go-to expert on our services, ready to answer questions and work through objections with ease
Reporting & Analysis
• Keep clean, accurate records: reports, proposals, booking packages, and more
Plus other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Education & Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing is a plus. We're
looking for 2+ years of sales experience: customer service, project management, or other client-facing work counts too.
Communication:
You're a clear, confident communicator who can break down complex information simply and present it well to clients,
coworkers, and leadership alike.
Computer Skills:
You're comfortable with everyday computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing) and pick up new software fast;
experience with CRM or sales management tools is a big plus.
Other Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required. This role is on the road 70-80% of the time, with occasional overnight travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands, with occasional climbing, bending, or kneeling while
quoting jobs on-site, sometimes in extreme heat or cold. Good vision and the ability to communicate clearly, in person and by
phone, are both important. You'll also need to be able to transport tools and materials as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
You may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, moving equipment, or airborne particles while on the job. Noise
levels are generally moderate.
