The Jimmie Hale Mission Young Professional Board is excited to announce its upcoming Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at City Walk Birmingham Pickleball courts. This highly anticipated community event will bring together players, supporters, and families for a day of purpose-driven fun to support life-changing work serving individuals experiencing homelessness in Birmingham.
The tournament will feature divisions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players, ensuring a welcoming environment for newcomers and seasoned athletes. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, connect with fellow pickleball enthusiasts, and enjoy a festive atmosphere.
Proceeds from the tournament will aid in Jimmie Hale Mission’s efforts to construct a new Emergency Plus Shelter, a year-round facility providing immediate care, resources, and refuge for some of Birmingham’s most vulnerable residents. Through events like this tournament, the Mission continues its long-standing commitment to ensuring that no one in Birmingham faces the conditions of homelessness alone.
The Young Professionals Board extends sincere gratitude to the players, volunteers, and community members who make this event possible. Their support helps continue extending hope, providing essential services, and meeting tangible needs across Birmingham. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for organizations and businesses seeking to make a meaningful impact in Birmingham through this event.
Community members are invited to play, sponsor, and attend and be a part of a meaningful day of recreation with real impact.
