The free community event aims to introduce children to the joys of fishing\, the outdoors\, and conservation in a welcoming\, family-friendly environment.\n\n\n\nEvent Highlights Include:\n\n\n	The first 200 kids under 15 will receive a free rod & reel combo\, along with a free tackle box and tackle\n	Knot tying station and fishing tips from experienced anglers\n	Food\, giveaways\, and plenty of family-friendly activities\n	Special appearances and support from local partners:\n	\n		Vestavia Hills Police Department (VHPD)\n		Vestavia Hills Fire Department's Water Rescue Team\n		Sr. Officer Charles "Chas" Moore with the Alabama Department of Natural Resources (DNR)\n		The University of Alabama Bass Fishing Team (of which Mark's Outdoors is the proud title sponsor)\n		Doodles Ice Cream Truck\n	\n	\n\nThe event will take place at Mark's Outdoors\, 1400-B Montgomery Highway\, Vestavia Hills\, AL 35216.
