DESCRIPTION:Horizon Church in Vestavia Hills\, AL\, will host the second annual Brazilian Day Festival on Saturday\, October 8th\, 2016.  The festival will be open from 11am to 6 pm and will feature authentic Brazilian food\, live music and crafts. This is a family friendly event will have activities for children.  There will also be demonstrations from Gracie Barra\, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu\, of Pelham\, AL\, and representatives from several of our sponsors and vendors. \n\n \n\nOne hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will be used in world missions activities.  Last year's event raised money for an orphanage in Zambia\, Africa.  Our church has also recently supported missions in Haiti\, India and the Amazon Jungle. \n\n \n\nCome out and experience the culture of Brazil in the heart of Alabama!
