SUMMARY:Haunt the Hills
DESCRIPTION:Our second annual Haunt the Hills Trick-or-Treat Night will be on Saturday\, October 28 on the Grand Lawn at Wald Park with festivities starting at 4:30 pm! Sponsor businesses will be setting up booths on the Lawn to give out candy and other promotional information. We'll also be having inflatables\, and costume and pumpkin carving contests. We'll finish off the night with a showing of Monsters Inc.\n\n\n\nFind the sponsor info here. Businesses must be located in Vestavia Hills or a Chamber Member to participate. You must also have a Vestavia Hills business license to sell any products.\n\n\n\nCostume Contest: those interested in entering the Costume Contest will need to register at the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce booth. You will be given a color-coded number corresponding with the category you are entering: Children\, Adults\, Groups or Pets. Attendees will be directed to a website where they can cast their vote for their favorites. Winners will be announced at 6:15 pm. Entry in the Costume Contest is free.\n\n\n\nPumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest: those interested in entering the Pumpkin Carving Contest will need to register at the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce booth. Pumpkins will need to be carved and/or decorated before arriving at the event. Pumpkins will be assigned a number and placed in a designated area. Attendees will be directed to a website where they can cast their vote for their favorite. Winners will be announced at 6:15 pm. Entry in the Pumpkin Carving Contest is free.
