DESCRIPTION:END ADDICTION BHAM 2022 \n\nJoin us at Railroad Park as we walk for those we have lost\, for those in recovery\, and for those who have yet to find recovery. We are walking to raise awareness of the substance abuse epidemic we are facing. This is not just about drugs and alcohol  this is about our future.\n\nThe End Addiction Bham Walk is a FREE event hosted by the Addiction Prevention Coalition.\n\nThis important annual event raises awareness and funds toward the addiction epidemic. When you participate in the End Addiction BHAM Walk\, you become a vital part of an organization doing everything within our power to save lives through:\n\nPrevention Education (Adults and Students)\n\nMatching people in need with Resources\n\nAwareness Events around the State\n\nPrevention Groups in local Schools\n\nWe need your help! We would love for you to partner with us by raising funds for this walk or through donations. To donate\, click HERE.\n\nFor more information about the Addiction Prevention Coalition\, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at (205) 847-0259\n\n\n\n \n\nABOUT THE WALK\n\nWALK DETAILS\n\nWalk Date: March 12\, 2022\n\nWalk Location: Railroad Park \n\nCheck-in/Registration Time: 10:00 AM\n\nWalk Begins: 11:00 AM\n\nREGISTER AS A PARTICIPANT\n\nEvery Registered Participant will receive an END ADDICTION BHAM T-shirt\, an 'I'm Walking For' Lanyard\, and a plastic bracelet.\n\nMany of you asked for the ability to fundraise as an individual and to build a team in honor or memory of a loved one\, and we heard you! So\, as you register for the walk this year\, you will have an option to register as either:\n\n\nA fundraising Participant or\n\nA Non-fundraising participant\n\n\nAs a fundraising participant\, you will be given the option to form a team and all the information and tools needed to recruit your team and walk together.\n\nIf you cannot be at the walk but want to be a part of the movement\, you are welcome to register as well.\n\nA portion of the proceeds from the walk will be used to provide scholarships for substance abuse treatment locally.\n\nA huge THANK YOU to walkers like you for investing in the future and partnering with the Addiction Prevention Coalition with our dream of ending Substance Abuse in our community!\n\nOnline registration closes at 5:00 PM CST on Thursday\, March 10.
